Biological surface testing for pathogenic organisms in your environment

Harmful bacteria and viruses live on all sorts of high-risk, frequently engaged surfaces. In order to fully eliminate the potential for infectious disease, it is necessary to first locate and identify pathogenic organisms in your environment. Biological surface testing allows you to accurately target harmful bacteria so that you can properly and effectively remove them from your facility.

Why test for COVID and other harmful biological bacteria and viruses?

  • Collect Accurate Data to Mitigate Risk

  • Validate your cleaning and disinfecting efforts

  • Ensure the safest possible environment following a confirmed COVID case

  • Biological testing is a key identifier for quality assurance and process improvement

How it works

Swab

Swab high-touch surfaces such as door handles, keyboards, phones, armrests, tables, chairs, etc.

Send swabs back to the lab

Place the swab back into the extraction tube which safely secures the sample for immediate transport.

Get results

Get clear, comprehensive results in 72 hours or less to help inform your next steps.

Why biological testing?

Biological surface testing, rather than standard ATP testing, allows for more accurate and actionable results. Standard ATP testing doesn’t test for viral pathogens, which is a key factor in the spread of infectious disease. ATP testing can also relay false readings due to interference from extraneous cleaning chemistries, and it does not differentiate between living and dead surface bacteria.

Biological surface testing is the gold standard in identifying pathogenic surface organisms in the cleaning and disinfecting industry. Biological surface testing counts the number of colony forming units (CFU) on the tested surface, which allows you to immediately take action in removing harmful bacteria with disinfectant solutions.
